Story #1 "More Than Just Words"
Nort hears his boys calling each other names; they think it's just fun and games. Nort uses the situation as a platform to discuss what it means to bring God glory. The kids also think of other things that they hear everyday and realize that just because everyone says it doesn't mean that it's ok to say it, too. This story was written because it lays the foundation on what it means to give glory to God - we either honor Him or we drag His name in the mud. How we relate to others shows us how we relate to God.

Story #2 "Tone Trouble"
Nort comes home and he doesn't like what he's hearing. The intonation of the voice is so disrespectful, and so instead of telling his children to stop talking that way, he brings it down and asks them if that tone of voice actually brings glory to God or not. This story was written because some children that I know all to well at times don't speak with the best tone. Too often we don't even notice that our tone of voice is disrespectful, and so this story makes us stop and think if what we are saying brings honor to God.

Story #3 "Once Upon a Lie"
Fredrick and Sabastien have been lying to their mom and dad, and they think that it's ok. Nort and Anne help them look at why lying - even a white lie - doesn't bring glory to God. This story was written because too often children are told "Tell the truth", but aren't told why they should tell the truth. If they start at a young age lying, they will continue to lie as they get older.

Story #4 "Too Much Complaining"
Have you ever been around someone that just drives you crazy because they can say nothing good? Fredrick and Sabastien have a friend who drives them crazy by his complaining, so they start complaining about him to their parents, not realizing they were doing just what they disliked. Nort and Anne use the situation to talk about complaining and how it doesn't bring God glory. This story was written because we all complain more than we realize, and this is to make us stop and understand why we shouldn't complain.
